TIFFANY, 20 YEARS

My name is Tiffany Naisenya Landei. I am 18 years old. I am friendly and funny. I live in Nairobi the capital city of Kenya. My family consists of five people. My father is fifty years old and my mother is forty six years old. I have two sisters. We live in a big house and my grandparents live in the upcountry. I have just finished secondary school and I am learning German at the Goethe Institute. Every Sunday I volunteer to look after the children in our church which is called Sunday school. We sing and play together. Besides that I often play with my nephews and nieces and the children of my neighbours where I often work as a babysitter during my spare time. My hobbies are volunteering, cooking, reading, singing and swimming. I also like to help with the household chores, do the laundry and clean. That is why I am familiar with the household tasks. The reason why I am looking forward to coming to Germany as an au pair is because I really enjoy working and taking care of children. In addition I would love to learn more about the German language and appreciate its culture. German language is difficult but very interesting to learn. A chance to work in a German family will give me the opportunity to improve my German, try new dishes and cook with the children, paint, play, swim and take walks with them.
