MAUREEN, 27 YEARS

Dear future host family. I'm Maureen based in a small town eastern part my country called Embu. As a woman at my age, it's safe to say, I believe despite being from a different culture, I have valuable lessons I can teach your kids from simple things such as hygiene to standing up to themselves. I can help with their interests and teach them the importance of believing in themselves and going for what they have. I am confident in ability to impact your kids and your family positively. Needless to say, I may not have all answers to life problems, but I have my fair shape of experience. I have experience of taking care of children from the age of 3 months, I come from a large family and I played a role in taking care of the young ones (cousins) and keeping them occupied by playing and reading story books to them. I personally don't have siblings but I had the opportunity to be adopted in a large loving family and I love them so much. I have skills in household chores from simple things such as ironing, keeping the house as clean as possible and thanks heaven I pursued hospitality so skills such as cooking come in handy and I can't wait to learn from my future family their causine? I am very energetic and I can manage to multi-task taking care of the house and the kids. I have worked as a waitress in busy 5star restaurants in Nairobi for 5yrs now and I have gained the art of multitasking, patience and giving my all to people satisfaction.
