ELIZABETH, 26 YEARS

'm confident, approachable, compassionate and a proactive individual who is driven by strong desire to make a positive impact on the world around me and this has guided and shaped my personality nurturing interpersonal relationships and seeks for personal growth. One of my greatest passion is learning about different cultures and people and always eager to explore new perspective and expand my understanding and this has led me to purse a bachelors degree in Community development where I have gained a deep understanding o global issues and developing a strong sense of empathy. Apart from my academic interest, I enjoy outdoor activities such swimming, bike riding and hiking. My recent hike to Mt. Kenya which was an incredible experience with the snow, and seeing so of the wild animals and plants such as the mountain bongo that are only found in the mountains. I also have special interest in art and crafts mosaic technique being my favorite since I'm able to use even those considered as waste to create something amazing and useful. My greatest desire is to pursue a master's degree in international development to equip myself with knowledge and skills for meaningful impact in global development initiatives. I'm particularly interested in working for international humanitarian agencies and i believe my in community development ,empathy for others and passion for cultural exchange would be valuable assets in effectively implementing initiatives aimed at alleviating poverty , promoting human rights and advocating for sustainable development worldwide and especially in developing countries like where i come from. In conclusion, my ambitions lie in continuing to work towards positive global change after being an Au Pair through international development and I'm excited to embrace new challenges and make a tangible difference in the lives of others and especially children's in the communities since they are our future .
