Dear future host family, Hallo! I am a kenyan in search for my first family match. I have been longing to be an au pair and im ready to be one too. I am 21 years old. I am single with no child. I am A+ Course Certified. I am fluent in English and i am comfortable to be in foreign nationals. I can make simple meals and snacks like "viazi karai", samosa and mahamri. I am independent, mature and creative. i love crocheting and would really love to share it with the family. I am not a picky eater and i am in excellent health condition. I have worked as a helping hand for various busy parents and their children since I was a teenager. My experience in childcare and housekeeping Management has directly improved the day to day life of the family. I am positive that i will make a positive impact as part of your family. I have encountered a lot of children and family situations which have shaped me into a flexible and quick thinking worker. Working with my first family for 2 years, i watched 2 children, one was an infant and the other elementary age. I managed their daily schedules that is bathing, playdates, changing of diapers and preparing meals. I also handled some house cleaning like washing dishes, doing laundry, cooking meals and mopping the house. Apart from childcare, i volunteer at Maryjoy school. Where I handled extra curriculum activities like crocheting, reading with the kids and planting of trees. I was able to bring out my leadership and creative side by turning daily activities to be fun and interactive. With my experience , skills, combined with my strong initiative and calmness ,i am convinced i would be an excellent nanny for your family. I have a passion for young learners and am ambitious in my goals. Plus my proficiency in using computers and home appliances give more weight to my candidacy. I believe i can be a good au pair for your family because i am responsible and trustworthy in the tasks assigned to me, independent and open-minded. I am very interested in becoming an au pair in your family, among other reasons being the program between host families and the au pairs is the culture exchange system. I've also come to the conclusion that I need to take action because I want to explore and learn more about life and the world and I want to have happy and proud memories to reflect on when I'm older.
