LUCÍA, 24 YEARS

Hi there! My name is Lucía Rocco, I’m 21 years old and I’m from Uruguay, Montevideo. I’ve lived here my whole life and the only times I travelled abroad were for swimming competitions that I had when I swam for the club “Biguá”. Thanks to that I got to meet a little bit of Brazil and Argentina too. Of course my native language is Spanish but I managed pretty well with English too since I started to go to the Anglo (an English Institute) when I was six years old until I was seventeen, year were I got my first international English certificate (the First Certificate Exam or FCE). I always aspired to meet new places and get to know people from other countries to expand my knowledge about cultures, traditions and different ways of living. I am passionate about psychology, in fact, I started my studies to be a psychologist at the University this year, but I realized that I prefer to meet the world a little more before I get into a professional career. I LOVE children and I have experience in childcare as a babysitter. Moreover, i'm really creative when it comes about inventing games to entertain them. I also love animals and I have the whole experience in taking care of them. I’ve had many pets in my life, all of them were rescued from the streets and they are all part of the family now. As a person who lives alone, I have always taken care of the maintenance of my house, as well as cleaning and order, therefore that would not be a problem for me either. I intend to make other people's lives a little easier in terms of day-to-day tasks, living with a family and lending a hand, always with good will and a desire to learn!❤️
