ALESSIA, 26 YEARS

Hello, my name is Alessia and I'm twenty years. I've already been an au pair once, in Scotland for 2 months and in England for 8 months.
I enjoyed that experience a lot because the family I met gave me the opportunity to disccover a new culture and all the people I met in UK opened my mind and my heart. For this reason I'd really like to be an au pair again, in another country this time.
I love children, and for this reason I started take care of them when I was 16, with my cousins, and then I started working with others families. Right now I do babysit , sometimes during the day and sometimes during the evening.

I'm currently studying at the first year of university; my degree programme is called "languages and diplomacy" .
I live in Ferrara, which is a small town in Emilia Romagna, but I study in Bologna. I live with my parents and I haven't got any brothers or sisters.
I love sports, running and walking especially and I love learning languages. Actually I can speak and undertand english very well, and I can write it and read it. I know french and 'm improving on it. But I'd really like to learn another language;

As I've already said, I've been an au pair already and it was a great experience. I can say that I got more mature and self confident, and at the same I became open mind, more than before. This is due to the fact that I travelled a lot and I met so many different people from different cultures, which is the best thing in my opinion.
Now I'd like to become an au pair again, even if in another period of mi life. Basically because I need to discover cultures and to live with a family totally different from mine. And then learn a lot from all of it.
