BINTANG, 26 YEARS

Dear Host Family, Hope you are doing well! My name is Bintang and I am from Indonesia. With this letter, I’m going to explain several things about me as your considerations. 1. I want to be an Au Pair because I really want to learn about foreign cultures and I want to share my culture with other people, especially foreigners who don't know about Indonesia. I love playing with children and taking good care of them because my home environment has lots of children and my house is often visited by them to play. Children are the most honest and sincere people. Because I think childhood will always be remembered by them and will more or less form the basis of their personalities. Children just need someone who can accompany them, let them enjoy exploring and expressing what they are doing, talk to them, and joke around with them. One of my dreams is also to be able to experience living, working, and studying abroad. 2. I'd never been an Au Pair before, and I'd never been a professional nanny. But I have a lot of experience exchanging cultures with several regions in Indonesia, I used to live with some families that I had never known before. I also have a lot of experience taking care of and playing with children. 3. Why you should host me: because I am a fun person, polite, responsible, and adaptable. I also have a lot of knowledge about my culture, and I have a lot of housekeeping skills, I can cook, take care of the garden, and do other housing activities. 4. Why am I confident that I am qualified for this position, I believe I can do this, and I can do it with a happy and comfortable feeling. I have never regretted doing what I started. 5. I wanted to let you know upfront that I can't afford a flight ticket. I am hoping the host family would be willing to cover the expense of travel.
