AFNIE, 23 YEARS

When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. I have 23 cousins and im the eldest, i always take care of my cousins often, I also organized for them and took part in recreational indoor and outdoor activities: we sang, danced, played games, role played, drew, painted, and narrated stories.

I have helped my parents and sometimes my aunts look after my siblings or my cousins since birth. As a teenager, I was nevertheless much more involved in caring for them on a daily basis. l spend a lot of time playing and take care of my cousins so from time to time I find myself in their ever animated company. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children.

I worked as a babysitter once about 3 years ago (take care of my neighborhood's child)
I have a very good experience with kids and babies because of my routine taking care of my siblings and my 23 cousins. I love being together with kids and babies.

And i understand perfectly that raising children or babies are not just taking shower,feedingetc, it's important to learn about parenting, to manage my emotional & the children emotional, pick a wise word etc. And i have learnt about parenting perfectly since 3 of my family member are midwifes
