SULAMI, 22 YEARS

Dear future host family, Hi👋🏻, my name is Syifa from Indonesia🇮🇩. I'm a recent fresh graduate from University of Indonesia majoring in Chemistry and got a bachelor degree of science. My current activity is attending a data science bootcamp. I am very interested to be an aupair because I really want to learn new culture, language, traveling around and pursue my master degree as well later. I'm very Independent, friendly, open minded, and trustworthy. I moved out from my parent's house in Indramayu at that time after graduate from junior high school and live in Cirebon with my own to do my senior high school. My friends told me that I'm a friendly and caring. This helps me build deep connections with people around me. I love cooking. My fondness for cooking is inherited from my mom. Every day, I assist her in preparing meals at home, continuously exploring new recipes that I've never tried before. I also have a passion for traveling, especially when it involves exploring nature. I once stayed at my friend's house in Tasikmalaya, Indonesia, where the scenery was breathtaking, and the air quality surpassed that of Jakarta. In addition to that, at home, I engage in sports like yoga and cardio to stay active and healthy. My experience with children is when I helped look after my nieces and nephews since they were 1 years old. I have two nieces and one nephews. I also have some experiences related to children. During my college years, there was a competition for preschoolers and primary school, and I participated because I genuinely enjoy being around young children. Recently, after graduating, I took on the role of a extracurricular teacher for "Fun Science" at primary school. This extracurricular activity serves as a platform for children to learn science in a fun way and enhance their creativity. I thoroughly enjoy working with children because, in my opinion, it fosters creativity, following their sometimes out-of-the-box thinking. My motivation to become an Au Pair is one of the ways to realize my dream of traveling around Europe and even around the world. Additionally, I also want to learn new cultures and languages in the countries I visit. I see this experience as an opportunity to broaden my knowledge of the world while still remaining focused on continuing my master's degree.
