HANNA, 21 YEARS

Hey! :)
My name is Hanna, I am currently 17 years old and will turn 18 in May of 2020.
I live in Steinhagen, a small City in west Germany, with my parents and my older Sister Marie, to which I have a really good relationship.
At the moment I am attending the 12th grade of a Gymnasium and I expect to graduate from the school in the summer of 2020.
In my spare time I play handball (since 11 years) and meet with friends. I also like singing, reading and overall being creative.
After my year as an Au Pair I would like to become a teacher (definitely something social and with children).
I am a vegetarian since 3rd grade (9 years) and I love animals, but unfortunately do not have a pet.
I would consider myself to be a very open, caring and kind person. At the beginning I can be a little bit shy, but once you get to know me properly, you realize very quickly that I am very humorous, honest and reliable.
Growing up, my Mom raised me and my sister Marie to be very independent and to do things on our own.
I have three little cousins and I also do have a lot of kids around me (siblings of friends).
I would like to become an Au Pair, because I would like to learn more about the culture and the language altogether, and would like to know more about the country. I simply love to work with kids. I find it to be so interesting how quickly they learn, how honest they are and how much there is that they do not know yet, which it would be my honor to teach them.
I also want to become their big sister, help them, laugh and play with them, be there for them and learn with them. I want to take responsibility and I'm ready to face challenges. I also want to grow as a person, learn more about my abilities, my strengths and my weaknesses. I just want to become an important part of the family for a year and have an unforgettable time.
