LAURA, 24 YEARS

Hello,
my name is Laura and at the moment I am attending the 12th grade of a German high school and will graduate in July 2019. After that I would like to work as an au pair for up to one year.
Getting to know different cultures and people plays a central role in my life: Not only did I grow up with two cultures, I also took part in several short international exchange programmes as well as a one-year school year in the USA.
I was already able to gain experience in the care of children. I have worked as a private child care worker (babysitter), gave tuition in various school subjects and for two years I have been working at my school as a day care worker for pupils in the 5th and 6th grades. During the latter, I am responsible, among other things, for accompanying the children to meals, supporting them with their homework and then employing them otherwise. All in all, working with other people, but especially with children and young people, gives strong empathy and communication skills, this is also very easy for me, because people quickly give me their attention and trust.
My personal interests include dancing, singing, listening to music, reading and enjoying the nature.
