KIMBERLY, 23 YEARS

My name is Kimberly and I will turn 18 next year. I am Vietnamese and Chinese but I live in Germany in a city called Oldenburg. I still go to a high school nearby but I will graduate next year in June. After that I want to do an Au Pair abroad and afterwards I want to study forensic science. I speak fluently german and english and I also know the basics in vietnamese and spanish. As a sport I do Cheerleading/gymnastics and I also like to read books, or to paint, or to do handcrafts in my free time. Besides that I am interested in music so I take piano lessons and I even love to sing.
I live together with my married parents in a big house with our small dog. I have 3 older sisters with whom I used to live together but since they are grown up, they already moved out and live alone.
I really love to travel and get to know a different culture. Since I have many relatives who live abroad for example in Vietnam or in the USA, I often go abroad. This summer I went to Vietnam with my family and I really enjoyed it there. Although it was a completly different culture in contrast to germany, I could get used to it very fast. So to go abroad is not difficult for me at all. I am a very openminded person who likes to experience new things. In addition I am very interested in the different languages. Although I already can speak many languages, there is always an open door for learning new languages. It won't be a problem for me to accustom to your culture, language and home. Having grown up in a big family, I also look forward to find a family where I am accepted like a family member. I want to get along with you well and I look forward to be a big sister to your children.
I am a responsible, reliable, trustworthy, ambitious, calm, organized and funny person and I enjoy to take care of children. I am always there for help and I do it with pleasure. I am also very ambitious: When i do mistakes, I try to correct it the best way so I can do it better the next time. I will try hard to meet all of your expectations. At home I often help my mother doing household chores so I will be able to help you in your household as well. So besides taking care of your children I am also willing to help in your household. Next year I will have my drivers license and I am also able to give first aid.
I have some experience in child care because I sometimes have to take care of my niece. Or for example when I was in Vietnam I also sometimes had to look after my relatives kids. Because I always had much fun to take care of children, I came up with the idea to do an Au Pair. I think it is a great concept because I am very openminded to a different culture. To go abroad and take care of children is a fantastic combination so I would like to do that after my graduation. I really like children and I really get well with them. I‘m good at entertaining them so it won‘t be difficult for me to get along with them. I will always be there for help and I am willing to educate your child. I am also a part of UNICEF and I participate in projects to help children all over the world.
