Dear host family You are looking for an Au Pair who loves working with children? An Au Pair who already has childcare experience? Someone who is going to spend one year with your family? Well, guess what! You have found someone now who applies to all these questions. I’m Mary and I would love to work as your Au Pair. I am living in Germany and will also graduate soon. So why do i want to be an Au Pair? My dream is to become a teacher (besides becoming your Au pair ;) ) and for that I think being an Au Pair in a foreign country is a good opportunity to gain some experiences before I will study. I’ve always liked working with children and started early to give kids English tutoring. Moreover, i also did some internships in primary schools which convinced me that helping children and teaching them new things is something I enjoy and can imagine doing as a job. So you may ask why I chose the US as destination for my Au Pair year. I’ve already been to the US once and I really liked it there and would love to learn more about the culture. In addition since I grew up bilingual (English and German) I can also teach your kids some German if you want to. All in all, I would describe myself as a kind and calm person who is also very determined and likes challenges.
