FATIMA, 24 YEARS

Hello! My name is Fátima, I'm 19 years old and I'm currently studying Pedagogy in college so that I can express my love for education and children. I speak perfect English and Spanish. I also know Italian. I hold a French and Mexican passport. I've traveled and learned a lot of different things of many cultures that I'd love to share with your family!

I LOVE PEOPLE BUT SPECIALLY KIDS! I enjoy being a part of their daily lives. I love to help them discover themselves and the opportunities that the world holds for them. I communicate with them very easily and they find it really easy to trust me not only as a friend but also as a big sister and role model!

I was born and raised in a family were principles and values are two of the most important tools in life. It would be my pleasure to pass this on to your kids in their daily lives.

I love outside activities and adventure, but also I enjoy a calm evening with a book and board games as well. I love animals, art and nature. My hobbies include dancing, writing and reading. And I also LOVE horses.

Last summer I had the pleasure to be an au pair in Italy, it was an amazing experience and I´m looking forward to do it again this year!

I've worked with kids in different ways, I'd babysit and I've been part of camps and courses as a guide and activity planner. I'm currently working with 5-8 kids on a low resourced community, I play with them and teach them how to read and write.

I've also worked on an organization named Gigs's playhouse which is specifically for Down Syndrome kids, I was on the language section and I'm really proud to say that I was able to help a lot of kids to improve their communication. I really enjoy helping and getting to work with kids with different abilities I'm amazed of all the things we can learn from them because I firmly believe that they have a lot to say, but they need the right people to listen to them and see their perspective on this world.

I´m currently teaching kids of a low-resource community how to read, so that they can expand their opportunities and see that they are capable of overcoming any obstacle!
