NINA, 25 YEARS

My name is Nina and I’m 18 years old. I have a sweet little half brother (but for me she’s completely my brother), Ewann. He’s 7 and I love him so much! My parents are Michel and Angélique, both artists and are very kind and patient.

English is my favorite language. I also like Spanish. My goal is to be able to speak three to four languages soon, namely French, my native language, English, Spanish and German (maybe more later). This is because I believe that the best things in life are learning languages, studying literature, the arts, music, running, cooking and playing musical instruments! I’ve been playing the violin since I was 8 and I learned playing the guitar and piano on my own (so I’m not on Bach or Mozart’s level!) Art has been a constant in my life. I’ve been drawing for a long time and recently, I started painting and I love it! My mother paints as well. I read literature, which I think is really important. I also love movies and photography.

My favorite, though, is learning languages. Be it Spanish, English, whatever, I love learning about them! Through languages, I learn about other cultures. For me it’s not homework – it’s a pleasure! I very much enjoy watching shows in English or Spanish and reading international press or books written in different languages! It’s a real pleasure to speak with English, Spanish and German native speakers. I would really like to become a trilingual person! But that’s not all. If I go abroad, it will be a new adventure and it would make me more mature, experienced and confident. Going on an overseas trip must be a wonderful experience! I want to learn about other cultures and their food and meet new people to share good and bad moments with. Now, let’s talk about taking care of children because it’s one of the most important parts of being a pair young woman! I love my little brother, he is so sweet, and I will surely miss him. I’ve been taking care of him since he was born, and I have experience in taking care of others’ children as well. I know how to engage them in activities such as cooking, drawing, painting, doing homework, playing board and mobile games and more! I am responsible and I will do my best.
