CATHY, 29 YEARS

Hello aspiring host families!

I am Cathy Tinampay, 25 years old, finished a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Office Systems Management and worked as an Office Personnel for almost 5 years and from the Philippines. I consider myself as an independent, proactive and reliable type of person. I am also willing to adapt changes.
I shifted to this cultural exchange as I am so interested in learning new cultures, traditions and languages.
Currently, I am here in Örebro Sweden as my first au pair experience and all I can say is, its fun and worth the experience.
I belong to a family of 4, host parents -- both are doctors and 2 kids who are 1 and 3 years old. Its so amazing to be part of this family, aside from the fact that they let me experience how is life, the traditions and holidays celebrated in Sweden, they also inculcate me on how to deal with diabetes since eldest son who is 3 has a Type B diabetes.
I really enjoyed being with kids, I can handle being with 8 months to 6 years old. And to add more, I am also capable of doing some light household chores and basic cleaning.
