LYNDON, 32 YEARS

I am a Senior Customer Service Representative in my country, the Philippines. My primary responsibility is to answer various inquiries of customers from other countries such as: Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Malaysia and UK on the phone. As a Senior CSR, we value our customers, we just not answer their inquiries but we also empathize with them. Compassion is very much vital in our job role, that's why in any job like mine, it requires a human being to do it because nobody can put themselves on someone else's situation but a human being.

I finished my degree in English this year of 2020 while working. I also acquired 2 year diploma course in Computer Science year 2011 while working as a part timer in fast-food chain like Jollibee. At a very young age, I learned how to work hard to achieve goals in life. Though I came from a poor family, it didn't stop me to move forward and step up in order for me to reach my dreams. Our family's source of income is farming, sadly, we don't have our own land in our town that's why my father needs to work for a land owner. The income isn't consistent because there's only job to work when time of planting and harvesting which usually happens three to four times a year. Thankfully, God is still good because I was able to finish my high school through accepting laundry from my neighborhood and cleaning their houses as well.

The main reason why I want to work as an aupair is because I want to learn other geo's culture and languages. Also, to live with other nationals because I believe that I would learn a lot from them and that would definitely help me to become a better person. Lastly, it's my dream to help my family and to finally get them out of the poverty.
