I hope you give me a chance to be part of your family. 😊 Thank you for giving this wonderful opportunity to introduce myself to you I am Maricar Gimeno, I am 24 years old and from the beautiful country of Philppines.Im graduated from Philippine Maritime Institute and Im associate Marine Transportation. With my parents, and two sisters and brother, We are living in the small house in Manila. We have dog and cat who loves to cuddle all day. My father got sick two years ago and hedoesn't have work and my mother works as a factory worker. My siblings are both studying. I would describe myself as an honest and trustworthy person.My parents taught me that I had to work hard for something before I could get it.I am family oriented person I like spending time with my family.I also have a lot of friends I consider them as my family. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me. Ever since I was a child I have love to cook and because of that I always cook our food everyday.I always want to clean the house, especially in my room, I don't want to mess up, I want everything to be in order. In my free time I enjoy reading a good book and singing even though I cannot sing. It is always a lot of fun! At the moment I am working as a baby sitter. I enjoy this job very much, because I am able to bond with my niece. For the past 7 years , I took care of my niece.They are both beautiful .I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them.I have been with them since they were born. I go to bed with them and I wake up in the middle of the night when they cry because they want milk. It happens when my sister is not here because she is working.Fortunately, I have a lot of patience for this. When I was in high school I am the one who take care to my younger brother and sister. I have 9 years age gap to them. Because my parents are working, I learned how to bathe them, feed them and put them to sleep. And If I have free time I play with them and help to their homework. My another experienced was when I was in college every summer I went to my cousin in province to take care of her baby in return they pay me for my allowance in school. I love children so much. I think I have more experience with others because I experienced these things in the very young age. Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them. The reason why I want to go to the Europe as an au pair is that I want to get to know the European way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. If you give me the opportunity to be chosen to be your au pair, I am just now grateful because it is not easy to be given such an opportunity especially during the pandemic that our world faces.
