RICA, 33 YEARS

My name is Rica, 28yrs old, and a Filipina. I am from Bicol, Philippines. I am from a family of 7 which includes my parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother and a twin sister.
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. In that case, I am capable of at least cooking basic food and making myself comfortable in the kitchen. I also have had experiences of taking care of children since I have a nephew.

I was an au-pair in The Netherlands for a year based on my contract. I had wonderful host parents with their 3 lovely kids, 2boys and a girl. They also had 2 dogs.
I helped them with the daily household chores like sending and picking up kids to and from school, tidying up the house, babysitting and a little bit of cooking.

Now, I am currently an au pair here in Denmark.
They’re a family of 4. Mom, Dad, a 13 year old and a 10 year, both are boys and we do have a dog. I usually do the same I did when I was in Netherlands.
Being an au-pair is great experience. it is a way of meeting new people, getting to know their culture and traditions and of course the free-will to travel. I also like the idea of being independent as it helps me to grow as a person and continuously be happy.
