CLAUDIE JANE, 27 YEARS

Dear Host Family, Thank you for the time to read my letter. My name is Claudie. I am a 25 year old(female) Filipino Au Pair here in Sweden. I have a degree in Entrepreneurship which I finished on April of 2017. Prior to becoming an au pair I've also worked in companies like Accenture and Abbott in my home country. I am enjoying my stay as Au Pair in Europe that's why I am planning to extend and find new host once my contract ends. When it comes to childcare experience, I did babysitting job when I was still in college for 2 years to support my needs. My class usually ends after 6 hours, so I'll go straight to the kid's home. Currently I am an Au Pair in Sweden taking care of a 2 years old and 10 years old. I spent most of my time babysitting the younger one since she doesn't go to school yet. She is more into playing and very active for her age. The parents are working from home so I usually feed her when they are not around. I do light household chores like tidying and cleaning up after very meal. I also cook Filipino dishes at least once a week. I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and they love me. Babysitting and accompanying them will therefore be very amusing for both. I love cleaning, organizing and tidying up and making sure home is always presentable at its best shape. Since I'm used to living by myself for many years, I've learned to take responsibilities such as buying groceries and running other important home related errands. For the au pair program, I will also be available for travels in order to assist you with the necessities. I'm a very flexible person, and can quickly adjust and adopt to new rhythms. I have never been out of the country but I would love to explore the world. Learn different cultures and languages and also to share mine with others. I'm looking forward to get out of my comfort zone to see and experience new things, and challenge myself into new ways of life. I am really curious to hear all about you and your children.
