SHENNA, 29 YEARS

Dear Family, My name is Shenna Abigail Ruiz and I am 27 years old. I am living with my mother, my 10 year old brother 19 year old sister and 3 dogs. At the moment I am working as a Branch Manager here in our city, (General Santos City, Philippines). I am a hard-working and driven individual who isn't afraid to face a challenge. I'm passionate about my work and I know how to get the job done. I would describe myself as an open and honest person who doesn't believe in misleading other people and tries to be fair in everything I do. My first language is, of course, Tagalog/Filipino, and I am also fluent in English. I started learning English in primary school, and it was also the language of instruction in the secondary school I attended. I am particularly interested in experiencing family life in Norway, since it offers a cultural context that is undoubtedly different from mine. For this reason, I would very much like to find a nice family to live with and work for in Norway. When it comes to child care experience, I have helped my parents look after my brother and sister since birth. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children. When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book. I also enjoy painting. As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 8-24months. I would also prefer looking after children aged between 6 months to 15 years.
