Dear Host Family, Hej! I am an Au Pair aspirant and I would love to have a host family soon that I can go with early next year. My genuine love for children is the main reason why I want to be an Au Pair, I find working with them both very fulfilling and fun. When I was in college I experienced living with one of the faculty for 2 years. During my stay there I help them with the household chores such as tidying up, cooking meals, doing the dishes, ironing clothes, helping with the laundry, and doing some gardening. I also assist in taking care of their child, this includes playing with the kid, learning the alphabet, numbers, colors, and other educational activities. I worked as a part-time language instructor for almost 2 years for Korean and Chinese students of various ages, and also I took part in organizing indoor and outdoor recreational activities for them. One of my childcare experiences was taking care of siblings (ages 2 and 4) for almost a year. It was my responsibility to attend to their needs, a normal day usually involves bathing and dressing them up, changing diapers, preparing food and feeding them, playing with them and doing some fun and creative activities, telling them stories before nap time, and organizing their bedroom and toys. I like to explore what's more to life, to be an Au Pair is an opportunity to learn new things by exposing myself to different people, places, and cultures. To sink deeper into the ways of life and to build meaningful connections, and also a chance to improve my language skills. When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, going for long walks or runs, exploring places I have not been to, and simply having a fika with someone. I also enjoy cooking, gardening, doing arts and crafts, and reading good books. I would be delighted to meet your lovely family and dwell in your humble home, and to take part in your family's household responsibilities, and above all to prioritize your child's well-being in return for experiencing your country's way of living. It would be nice to have the opportunity to speak with you: to answer whatever questions you have for me and to learn more about your family and your interests.
