ADELLE MARIE, 24 YEARS

Dear family, I am Adelle, a 23-year-old Filipina, born and raised in the Philippines. I speak English and Filipino. I love being around children. I have a dream of becoming a preschool teacher as I have a passion for teaching. I love talking to and knowing different kinds of people; hence I took Humanities & Social Sciences in senior high school and Communication Arts in college. I also have a desire in cooking as I originally wanted to become a chef. My experiences include childcare and babysitting 0–15-year-olds in the Philippines and in India for my relatives, family, friends, and co-workers since I was 14 years old. Here are just some things I can help you with: - Taking good care of the children, helping with homework, teaching English and crafts, playing sports, and guiding them through daily routines - Cooking and preparing Filipino, Italian, Korean, Chinese, Indian, and American dishes - Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a spot-proof house - Household chores such as washing the dishes, doing the laundry, and buying groceries I want to become an Au Pair because I love learning and teaching. My goal is to learn as much as I can about different cultures and languages such as German, Spanish, Deutsch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Italian, and French. I will apply these learnings when I become a preschool teacher in the Philippines. I can also use them when applying for a bilingual position in the BPO industry where I am currently working.
