Greetings Host Family, It is my heartfelt thanks that in Gods time, there is an opportunity, a blessing and chance that is prepared for me. firstly I would like to introduce myself I am Khrystine Padillon Feliciano and you can call me "Tin" since this is the usual name that my family and friends are calling me and I live in the beautiful, prosperous, province of Philippines Zamboanga City, which is one of the nice tropical places in the Philippines. I can speak 2 Filipino dialects; Chavacano which is my mother tounge where it is a bit similar to Spanish language, Tagalog which is frequently used to speak in the Philippines. I am also fluent in English because in our place it is a mandatory subject and I believe I can use this skills to have an open opportunities. Singing is really my hobby like most of my family specially my father and I really love to sing, I am family oriented, passionate, cheerful, jolly, responsible, light hearted person, I know how to do household chores such us, washing dishes, washing clothes, ironing and I always make sure that the surrounding of the house has no dust. Also, I know how to cook, especially Philippine cuisines like "Chicken and Pork Adobo", "Chicken Estopado", "Pininyahang manok" it means chicken mixed with pineapples, these foods are one of the famous cuisine in our country. Aside from that, I know how to cook Italian food recipe such as Pasta, Vegetable Salad, Pizza, Lasagna, Italian Spaghetti, Steak. I know also how to cook Chinese food recipe like spring rolls and noodles. In addition to this, I love also to make snacks such us sandwiches, salads and many more. I love also to bake some simple cookies and cakes, I learned this because of my Aunt, she knows how to bake and I am assisting her whenever she is baking. I do love children too, even though it's not my family member but I always treat them so good, I had my experienced to baby sit 2 toddlers aged 7 and 4 that's why it is easy for me to handle kids. I do also love dogs and I take care 2 dogs, their names are Sky and Empoy we treat them like our family as well. For my educational background, I completed my senior high school in Caregiving and first semester of college with a course of Bachelor Education major in English, my goal is really to finish my studies but because of some financial problems I have to stop and seek for a job. I started my first work as a baby sitter in a 4 member of the family and my task is to take care their children since the parents of the children that I taking cared of is working with that I also keep the house clean and oriented by keeping the house hold chores clean and in place and I also maintain the surroundings of the house beautiful and polished by moping, scrubbing, wiping, and disinfecting that parts of the house I also do the dishes and groceries for their supplies. I also have a work experience in a first class restaurant in manila, where I am a cook there since this is also one of the skills that I have and I love which is cooking. By it I prepare foods, managing food stations, cleaning the kitchen maintaining its cleanliness, and helping the chefs from to time to time. I am also an active member of our barangay, where we are having an activity for the needy in our community with it I am usually the one who organize the feeding program Supplementary feeding programmes, food fortification, supplementation, school feeding, food-for-work and nutrition education and consumer awareness programmes are the types of targeted programmes most commonly used to improve nutrition to our community. I also work as a caregiver for almost 1 year in well oriented family which adds my working experience. With it, I Assess medical needs, Checking on your loved one's health is an important caregiver responsibility, prepare a care plan, assist with basic needs, provide companionship, help with housekeeping, monitor medications, assess your care plan regularly, prepare meals. As the time goes by, I learn to be more responsible on all the duties and task that I have with the guidance of God and with all of my skills I became more matured, when it comes of working, passionate about my obligation, and eagerly to really do my Job with all of this I never get tired because I am really a workaholic person. I am hoping that I will be given a chance to work and served to your family to the best of my ability and and I will assure that you will not regret because I will give my very best for the sake of my duties and obligation to your family and it will be not hard for me to adopt your culture and willing to be advised, with all of my heart and sincerity I am ready physically and mentally to do all the task that has been assign to me, hoping for you soon response and praying for the safety and protection to your family out there.
