Licensed and Experienced Caregiver applying for aupair Dear Host Family, Hi, My name is Mariel Auxtero but you can call me Maye from Philippines. I am 22 and I am single with no kids. I was born and raised in Bohol one of the most beautiful provinces in the Philippines. I can speak English and Filipino. I am a friendly person and easy to be with. I am a pet lover too and I love to sing, do arts and reading books. After I graduated in High School I studied short term course "caregiver" in Cebu. When I finished in caregiver I served at the Home for the Aged. Where I assist the seniors preparing their meals,checking their vital signs,bath them,feed them and take them to the garden for exercises. When I finished my service at the Home for the Aged I serve again at the orphanage. In there, I took care the children bath them, feed them, give them vitamins. I also cook thier meals. Do the laundry, cleaning their rooms and taught them their homeworks. As I finished my service I apply and got hired in Cebu as a Iive in caregiver. Which I took care of an elder aged 92years old. My everyday routine is that I woke up at 5am and getting ready for my duty. At 6am I cook her meals, feed the elder, give her medicines, checking her vital signs and I read her the Bible. Doing some light arm and leg exercises. When she takes a nap I will do some household chores. Washing the dishes, cleaning her rooms,sweep and mop the kitchen. I do the laundry thrice a week and grocery once a week. I worked there for 3years until she passed away. I become a live in nanny of a good family here in our city. They are willing to talk and give referral. Im taking care of their kid age 4 years old. My daily tasks is preparing her meals, bath her, feed her and give her vitamins. After that I will taught her how to write, read and draw. And in the afternoon when she is asleep I clean and arrange the rooms. These experiences are the reasons why I've become more matured and know how to deal with the responsibilities. And I believe that my caregiver experiences will make me a great Au Pair and would help me improve more. If you would give me a chance to be part of your family, I'll be so much grateful.
