ROWELYN, 29 YEARS

Dear host family, I´m Rowelyn, 29 years old and from the Philippines. I am previously an au pair in Netherlands and Denmark and currently in Norway. My contract will end on june 2024 and I still want to be an au pair after my contract is done. When it comes to my experience of being an au pair I could tell it has been refreshing and exciting. I am lucky to find a cool and good host family both in Netherlands, Denmark and in Norway. When I was in Netherlands for 1 year my priority is taking care of children ages 5 and 8, tidy up and cooking for dinner. While in Denmark and in Norway my task is cleaning the house and pet sitting because the kids are old enough and can take care of themselves. My routine in the morning is Tidying up, Vacuuming, mopping and dusting. Walk the dog 2x a day and do the laundry and ironing. I also change the bedsheets and towels. I sometimes cook for them but most of the time my host prefer to make their meal. I don't eat with them since I have my separate kitchen in my room and they will just provide me a food allowance. If my new host family prefer a different arrangement, that is fine with me as long as they are kind and considerate. I am patient, sensitive and calm. I get along with kids and I don't have problem with pets. I hope to find a good family here. Thank you. Best regards, Rowelyn
