MARIA LUISA, 31 YEARS

Dear Host Family, Good day! I’m already very excited about getting to know you. But first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Maria Luisa S. Lagura, I ‘am 28 years old and youngest. I was born and rise in the small city of General Santos,9500 Philippines with my parents, Luzminda (60), Mario (58) and my sister Maria Luz (33). But recently last November 05,2020 I just got married to my husband his name is Dio Adriane (28) and I have a beautiful daughter her name is Aella Laurice 3 years old. I’m living in a house that is located an in area with full of nature but we are surrounded by nice neighborhood. We’ve got 3 dogs, who loved cuddle all day. My husband works as police officer here in our town. My mom and dad don’t have a work because they are old. And I and my sister have a big responsibility to support them especially their needs. We are pretty large family because we’re staying the same place with my parents. I would describe myself as reliable and caring person. I love teaching kids and mingled with them. I treat them as my close friends and family as well. I like spending time with family and friends especially to my daughter. I’m hands on mom and I treat my daughter as my baby forever. It’s very important always trying to help others’ always there for them when they need me. In my free, time I like listen to the music, go shopping and playing badminton. Dancing is one of my favorite hobbies. I also a part-time teacher, online and teaching different nationality just like Korean, Chinese and Japanese. This is my own way also to earn a money and help the family. I really love learning different cultures and making friends with them. I thought beginner to advance level. One of my experience I was a former teacher in a formal school way back year 2014 at General Santos Academy. I thought different subjects in different levels of learners. I also enjoy reading books and singing. Even though I’m not good singer. Eventually I graduated at GenSantos Foundation College Incorporated in one of prestigious school here in our town. To finish my study, I’m also a working student to my aunt’s inn way back 2011 during college years. when One of my major duties are, I need to clean the rooms, even the house, I also do laundry, ironing the cover of the bed, collecting the garbage can and utilize and keep the environment clean and neat. I also enjoy the job because I can able to make friends with our customers and co-worker. I’m also energetic, loving, had working and well-motivated. For the past 3 years I took the chance to take care my daughter and decided to stop working and be a full-time mom. And I realize it’s the most wonderful thing happened in my life. Being a mom at the young age is not easy but I realize that I can’t imagine my life without having a lovely, beautiful daughter, I ‘am blessed more than of what I imagine. The reason why I would like to go the USA as an au-pair is that I want to get to know the American way of life as well as different cultures. Another reason is that I really want to help my family especially my daughter needs. I also I can give my daughter a better future working in other country. And last and most importantly It would be great chance to spend the entire year taking good care of children and stablishing a good relationship with my new family. And of course, It would be great to improve my English skills as well. I hope I could develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family.
