LEA, 30 YEARS

Hi! I'm Leah, I'm turning 27 years old this coming 3rd of April. I'm from the Philippines and currently living in Denmark with my sweet host family (family of four; host dad, host mom and two sweet boys ages 2 and 4 years old) I would describe myself as a reliable, friendly, positive, patient and open-minded woman who's always interested learning something new. I like spending time with my family and friends. In my free time I use to go out with my friends to hang out, watch movies, read e-books, bike around and also walk to experience the nature. I'm also fond of pets, I have a dog way back in the Philippines. And also my family owns a rabbit, love birds and a cat. And yes, we have alot of pets way back in the Philippines. And I could proudly say I'm a pet lover. We are a family of 7 in the Philippines. I have both of my parents and four siblings (2 big brothers, a sister and a younger brother) all of them are married and have their own family. I'm the only single in our family. I have 4 nephews and 4 nieces. Since I was a kid, I was already surrounded by a big family and lots of kids. That's when I started also taking care of children (from infant to 12 years old). I'm very fond of children. I use to play, dance, do some activities and crafts, and I also help my niece and nephews with their homework or help them review their lessons for an exam or periodical test. It's very important for me to have a sisterly relationship to the kids and treat them as part of my family. I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for the children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. So, my calm and patient personality will help me to encounter some other situations for instance when the kids are tired or don't want to listen.
I also like cooking, I had learned alot of dishes and recipes while my stay in Denmark. I was also able to learn how to cook some traditional danish foods that I would definitely want to keep and share to others in the future. For the past few months of my stay here in Denmark it truly helped me to grow, meet new people and also learn their culture and language. So, I would like to continue my journey as an au pair as I'm searching for my second host family, also to learn another culture, language, meet new people and be part of my future host family.

As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me to be part of their family and would like to spend great and unforgettable months with me. I would like to have a good and mutual connection with my future host family.
