AUDRIAH, 23 YEARS

I'm 20 years old a single citizen of the Philippines. My mother-tongue is Cebuano and ever since I've started schooling, I've learned and come to know how to speak Tagalog and English. Due to the influence of Korean Pop I also know the basic of Korean. In high school I attended a Catholic institution, where I was a consistent honor student from grade seven up until grade twelve. During my senior year of high school I had a minor in Mandarin. Now, I am in college, in the same institution I attended since high school. At first I took a major in Accounting but I had to shift due to finding the program difficult, so now I am taking a major in Financial Management.

As someone who is living close by my grandparents I visit them every now and then to attend to their needs, especially that both of them are physically ill. I've been doing this for 3-4 years now. Moreover, I have a younger brother. We have a 12 year gap and it has been a challenge acting like a second mother to him when my mother is not around. Ever since he started schooling, I assist him in his homework and help him in his developing and learning. It is tough and quite a challenge but surely all is worthit.

I tend to keep myself reserved and not socialize to a big group but I do like my genuine small group of friends. I enjoy listening to music and dancing. I listen to kpop and english songs mostly. I also play sports like volleyball and badminton and despite being an introverted person, I like to go out and have outdoor activities with my family. We have a lot of dogs in our family, some cats too. I have a dog named Jolo. He turned one year old last October 2020 and I know it sounds cliché but he makes me really happy and to look forward in life.

I look forward to going to other countries and experience various cultures, learning other languages and generally to have the best of life.
