JOHN, 30 YEARS

My name is John Jay Q. Item but everyone calls me Potz/John. I am 28 years old and single. I live in Davao city, a largest city in the southern Island part of the Philippines. Our city is known for being the home of Mount Apo, which the highest mountain of the Philippines as well as being nicknamed as the Durian fruit capital of the Philippines. I am well-spoken in the English language. I graduated last 2020 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Davao Doctors College and I’m working as a general manager and occupational therapy assistant in Momentum Occupations and Therapeutics. I currently live in the city with my best friend which includes her sister. I have a sister her name is Cie, she is 35 years old and I have 2 girl’s nieces which is Charity (10 years old) and Gerr czel (5 years old) and they live in a province now. My mother's name is Evangeline, she's died when I was 6 years old due to cancer. She’s very loving and caring mother as far as I remember. My father’s name is Efren and he is a former policeman and is a good father to me. He died last November 2019 due to brain herniation and stroke at the age of 61. I am the youngest among 2 sibling. I have a wonderful relationship with my family. We also love animals. We have dogs, and one cat. Now I’d like to tell you about myself. I always try to be kind and helpful to other people. I grew up in a catholic household and was taught important Filipino values such as being family oriented, God-fearing, and hospitable. We have always been taught to value education. I am patient, caring, honest, hardworking, creative and resourceful. I am an outgoing person and likes to do outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking and cycling. I enjoy traveling, gardening, going on trips with my family, relatives and friends, and playing with my pets. I know how to cook and have my own 10 list of delicious Filipino recipes that I can say that I’m very good for it. I always help in the household chores and in taking care of my nieces when I am in the province since I’m very close to them.
