JHANINE, 27 YEARS

I came from an extended family where I have a lots of baby cousins, uncles, aunts, both my parents and grandparents, and I have lived with them with happiness and joy. They are one of the biggest factors of who I am today. They mold me to become a better person who knows how to handle responsibilities in life, and they have also taught me how to handle negativities and problems in life. And even though I am the breadwinner of the family; I did not see it as problem for me to reach my dreams and goals in life. One of which is to go to Europe and explore the beauty of it, may it be with the people living in it or the beautiful tourist destinations.

I am always a happy go lucky person. I love to travel into different places. I love going to beach, mountains, and rivers. My family and friends would always want to see me whenever there is a gathering, they would always say that the room would not be complete if I am not around. Honestly, I love making them laugh to the point that they will have teary eyes.
I am also a spokesperson and I love talking to people. Since I am a Psychology graduate and I have gone an internship in a mental institution, it is quite easy for me to deal, talk, and adjust to people. I love hearing different stories about different people. Every time I listen to them, I feel like I can learn so much based on their stories, and in that way, I could learn from it and I can bring it with me wherever I go from my journey in life.

I also know how to clean and organize things in the house, I know how to cook, wash dishes, and personally I wash my own laundry. Me and my brother were raised by a single parent and my Mom taught us household chores since we were little and she would always say that for us to become productive in our day to day, a simple household chores would always make us productive, and by becoming productive, we become better in ourselves and as a person.

I want to become an Au pair because I have always wanted to live and explore in a European Country. As I fondly called it “The Place of History”. I feel like there is so much in Europe than seeing its beautiful statues and buildings. There is so much history built and carve in it. And I want to personally see through it, not just in YouTube or in Google but me standing in front of it. I want to explore new opportunities in life, I want to meet new people, I want to see the beauty of Europe, and most especially, I want to go out of my comfort zone. And hopefully, by God’s grace, this dream and goal of mine will come true.
