AIZA , 33 YEARS

Dear Host Family,

I hope you'll consider me to be your au pair. I know that your children are the most precious part of your life and they take a huge amount of faith to trust another person with them. It would be wonderful if I was that person. I would be very happy to put my qualities and skills at your service. Naturally, I remain fully available to provide further information concerning my background, my professional experiences as well as my motivations.


My name is Aiza Parchamento, my family and friends call me ‘Aiza.’ from Zamboanga City, Philippines. I can speak English and Filipino as the national language of our country and also basic Spanish since it is the native dialect in our city.

For my educational and work backgrounds, firstly, I studied Bachelor of Science in Nursing for only a year and was not able to finish it due to financial problems. For me to finish my tertiary education. I decided to be a working student for my aunt and tasked on all her household chores, such as, washing the clothes, preparing meals and lunch packs for the kids, grocery shopping, cleaning the bathrooms, dusting, feeding the pets, pay the water and electric bills as well as taking care of her kids.

I then graduated at University of Zamboanga where I earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Marketing. My first work was a sales agent but when the company closed I then became a waitress in a school canteen and a volunteer in an orphanage in my city where we help street children and also a health care provider for the elderlies where I used to help the seniors.

Some of my duties during my time as a health care personnel were assisting them with their house chores like polishing and dusting furniture, exposing them to sunlight and fresh air in the garden, and watering plants and the lawn. On the other hand, I also learned a lot from my experience in the orphanage, such as, teaching the children to be a good citizen where I set myself as a good role model for them and usually waking up at 5 in the morning, preparing breakfast and washing the dishes, setting quality time by playing sports with them, baking cakes and cookies in the weekend, diapering the babies, feeding the toddlers, dressing and helping them with their home works. I indeed have had good contact with children there.

I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and i love them, i consider them as a member of the family.

I want to be an Au Pair because I want to experience living in another country, learn their unique culture and way of living, and to be welcomed by a family who will treat me as a sister or as a friend. I believe I can be of good service with my host since I enjoy doing household chores, cooking and love family gatherings and celebrations. I am also fond of teaching and taking care of kids, not to mention, I currently look after my 3-year old niece and 6-year old nephew, that is why raising children is not new to me. I enjoy singing, dancing and playing with children and teens and also teach them in our local church during Sunday classes where I also take part in organizing our church's Bible reading.
