CEILA, 28 YEARS

Aupair with experienced in Singapore as Nanny Dear Host family, It is with great anticipation that I present to you my application as an Au pair. Hi, my name is Ceila Cuenca, my family and close friends’ call me “sheng” I am 25 years old and was born in one of the provinces in the Philippines, can speak English and Filipino. Filipino Language is the National Language of the Philippines, also basic Spanish because it is the native or dialect we spoke in Zamboanga City. A friendly person as they say and fun to be with, caring and sweet. Passionate on everything I does and I can really work under pressure and I can manage multi tasking. I love cooking, baking, nature and doing some arts & crafts. I also know how to ride a bike, biking is the best and fun activity we do together with my younger brother. I earned units in my bachelor course, but it went a little bit complicated as we were challenged financially that prevented me from finishing my degree. But that did not stop me to learn more and work hard. After High school, I volunteer on our church and work as a staff every summer. Then I decided to find other job which will help me to provide for my family. I apply as a Nanny in Singapore for two years. My everyday routine is that I wake up at 5 am tidying up my bed, after that I prepare the breakfast then when the baby is awake, I prepare her to take a bath and feed her after and when the baby is asleep, I do some light house chores in the afternoon. I do the laundry 3 times a week. When I got back in the Philippines I rest for a while and I volunteer to tutor a kid in our community. It lasted for 5 months only. At this moment I have a part time job in a 3 star hotel in our province my main task is cleaning the room, arranging, vacuuming and change the linens. These experiences are the reasons why I’ve become matured and know how to deal with big responsibilities. I think my childcare and household skills will make me a great Au pair and would really help me improve more.
