ANGELIE, 28 YEARS

I am a Filipino currently residing in Cebu City, Philippines. I am a quite simple individual willing to help with your childcare needs. I am the youngest in the family so I don't have much of experience when it comes to babysitting and stuff. But i used to take care of my nephew when my older sister is away. I actually treasured every moments when I've got times to spend with him .

I may don't have a lots of experience but one thing I can assure you is that I will love your kid/children like my own and treat your family as my family as well. This would be my first time to be an Au Pair if given a chance by my future host family.

I’d like to become an Au Pair because I see this as a platform for me to learn different cultures and impart at the same time.This is a benchmark for me to reinvent myself and be able to get out from my comfort zone.

Well, I have been living alone for almost 3 years now. It wasn't easy on the first year. I have to do all the chores. I have no one to physically look after me when i'm sick. No one to run the errands. Living by myself is somehow a painful discovery considering I got no one else but myself. On the second year, adjustment period was over. I realized it was a beautiful journey too. How I was able to deeply engage to my inner self. I assessed my strengths and weaknesses. Learned to harness the former and braved to overcome the latter. I come to conclude that i have to be fine with myself first before I can get along with others well. Being away from my friends and family was a toil I successfully hurdled. Communicating with them remained constant as they are the people who are significant to me.

Moreover, this would be a unique experience that I’m excited to deal with . I love to take chances to build a family- like bond away from home. Learning new skills , language and be able to adapt cultural differences would actually help me improve and be the kind of individual that I’ve always wanted to be.

I guess I am equipped enough to start a new journey with you. Growing up with my family, adulting by myself, and now hoping to experience a big chunk of my life with you.
