"Alpas" is of the most beautiful Filipino words, meaning unconfined also the same description I want to be associated with and I want to live for. At 23 years old, I am a firm believer that the best way to experience the world is to share what's mine and to collect what others' have to give, a blank slate willingly to be filled with countless lessons (good and bad), disappointments, encounters and etc. Becoming an AuPair would allow me to be unconfined: experiencing the best of the world while being able to contribute to my future host family what it is to be a Filipino and in return grasp on their unique culture and heritage.
