KRIZZIA, 28 YEARS

Dear Host Family,

My name is Krizzia Yu. I am 24 years old from Philippines. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has experience working as administrative assistant for more than 2 years. I want to become an Au Pair in Europe because ever since I was a child I have always admired the class and elegance of its society. I want to interact with the natives there for quite some time and immerse in their lovely culture. I am a conscientious person who works well and is able to manage time well. After this covid situation, I am planning to enrol in a driving lesson so i'd be able to have my drivers license. I grew up with my grandmother since my parents separated. I am currently living with my cousins so I get to take care of them too as I was the eldest grandchild. I was given with enough trust and responsibility even when I was little because of the fact that I am the eldest among my cousins or siblings.

I want to know what it's like being an Au Pair abroad because I want to experience the other side of the world's culture and be able to write about it based on my perspectives. I also want to share with them how a Filipina's propensity is showed anywhere she goes.

I love music, art, writing and reading in my own journal. I sing a lot at home. I like to observe people and the way they behave. I also love little children. Whenever I go home from office work, little children on the streets would greet me with smiles on their faces. If i'd be given the chance of being an Au Pair in Europe, I would share my experiences to my family, friends, to the extent of my influence. I am planning to expand my knowledge in certain languages so maybe I could be a translator in their language. In that way, I could use what I learn and remember a once-upon-a-time experience in living a European dream.
