I am Ella Mae Dela Cuesta, 25yr-old caring and loving single Filipina, currently living in Davao City, Philippines.

I believe have all the skills and the personality to be the best aupair for your family. I'm a positive person, easy-going, reliable, caring person. I am very patient, understanding, and open-minded with other people.
As an aspiring aupair, I can say I am a very good cook. I can cook many menus like the pasta chicken, spaghetti, vegetable salad, various pork and chicken recipes, spring rolls, beef steaks, and many more. I am also eager to learn how to cook European dishes.

I am a very house-oriented person, making the home as clean and neat as I can.I use the broom and the vacuum cleaner at home. As for the laundry, I use the washing machine and also do the handwash on delicate clothing.

As an aspiring aupair, I can say I have significant child care experience since I’m the eldest sister. My younger sister is Geraldine and she is 15 years old and 10 years younger than me. Geraldine is actually my half-sister. We grew up together at my grandmother's house. My parents separated when I was very young. My father married another woman and had Geraldine. Growing up I usually prepare the stuff for my younger sister, make her meals for the day assist her with her clothes to be used. I help my grandmother taking care of Geraldine since my grandmother is already old, She is now 89. Now she is 15 years old and responsible and helps with grandmother.

I also have other child-care experiences. I have 6 nieces and nephews from ages 4 to 12 years old. Their father is working abroad so every week they visit grandmother and sleep there. Being the oldest, I am in charge of looking over them. Every week they visit for sleep overs sometimes they go here on half days, we usually have some activities like color books, recite them on alphabets and other artistic things to do sometime the older one help as to make food, some are playing basketball.

As for my work experience and educational background, I studied a 2-year Health care service and Care-giving course and finished it last 2015. I also have additional training and obtained a National Certificate (NC II) for Health Care Service. Recently I worked in one of the largest private hospital in the city as a health care assistant. Previously, I also worked for 3 years in a private company as medical assistant personnel.

I love my work since I deal with different people helping them in their medical needs. But my work is also challenging because of the 12-hour daily schedule, which is physically and mentally challenging.
As for my personality, I see myself as a positive person, easy-going, flexible, hard-working. My family see me as trustworthy, caring, open-minded and a person with lots of patience. My close friends tells me I’m a kind, loving person, considerate, friendly, and honest.

I am also very independent as I want to act and to do things by my own. Maybe my childhood shaped me to become independent since my parents are separated when I was very you. During those times I spent 2 weeks living with my mother, then 2 weeks with my father , and back and forth. But since my elementary age, I mostly live with the grandmother.

I may be independent but I care so much for my love ones. Though my family is not complete, I am thankful that they were there to support me. I was very happy when I finish my studies and seeing both my parents are there to support me. I am also very thankful for my grandmother she was always there for me. I was very much affected when recently my grand-mother had accident she got a fracture to her right foot. We stay to the hospital for one month, then having her leg brace at home for six months. She is now at recovery stage she can manage slightly to walk slowly with a walker. I love my family very much.

As for my own future plans, I am very excited to be an aupair. I heard about this exciting program from a friend of mine who have friends who became aupairs. As an aspiring aupair, I can already imagine seeing new places, meet new friends, and learn new languages. I don’t have travel experience going abroad so I want to experience how live another way of living, to explore and enhance my knowledge.

As for my personal interest, I love going out for a swim and maybe snorkeling. I also love biking and riding a scooter. I like dogs. I have dogs at home. I love taking care of them, as well as cats. I play volley ball, basketball, table tennis, badminton. I am about 5’ feet in height and physically active and healthy. I am not married and I don’t have a boyfriend yet. I grew up Roman Catholic and very respectful of others faith and beliefs.
