PATRIZIA, 28 YEARS

Dear Host Family,

Hej. I am Patrizia, my friends also call me Pat and I am 24 years old, I graduated from college with a degree Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management this last May 2019. I am from Philippines and I am living with my family which my grandmother owns the house. We also have 3 dogs that who love to play outside. My mother is a housewife, while my brother is an Information Technology specialist in a small company here in the Philippines.
As myself, I can describe it as a caring person, reliable and I have a calm and patient personality. I really love children specially babies which are fun to be with because of their cute faces and laughs. To give you a little background for taking care of children(s) let me tell you this short story.
I took cared my nephews since they were a baby because every vacation, I stayed at my cousin’s house to help. I have 2 nephews and 1 niece waiting to be born this November. When they get a little bigger every weekend my cousin brings his children at our house to take vacation from school so that’s the time, I got to spend it with them, play with them, and take care of them.
And as for my hobbies I like spending time with my friends if we have time to get together, I like staying in my room listening music. I love spending time with my family and helping them in household chores, And because as a tradition in my country we should help and learn to do the chores inside the house while we are young.
So, let me tell you why I want to be part of your family. The reason why I want to be a au pair is that my friend inspired me about her stories and being part of different family. It is super exciting for me because it will be an exchange culture with each other like learning different language, see the beauty of your country, try different variety of food and to adopt the tradition of yours. And besides in culture and traditions, it will be also fun for me because I really like new staff to learn and see. I may not have an experience as an au pair but I guarantee to you that I’m fit at any task you may ask, like anytime or anywhere and also you can trust me in all different things. And also, I have a background in the housekeeping things so that it won't be a problem to me and to us and in my duty because before I apply for this, I've made sure that I have the knowledge and skills for it.

I hope you may give me a chance to prove it to you and I'm sure that your family won’t regret it after all. And we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
