JAM, 27 YEARS

Dear Host Family,

First of all I want to thank you for reading my message and for giving me the chance to give you a little impression of me and the reasons why I would like to become an Au Pair.

My name is Jam Morien Garcia. I am 24 years old and from Philippines. I would describe myself as a very friendly, trustworthy, cheerful, responsible, hardworking, reliable and open-minded person. According to my friends I have a good sense of humor. I love to laugh and make other people laugh. I can speak English fluently.

I love cooking, cleaning the house, doing our laundry and reading books, .

Now I would like to tell you more about my experiences with children.
At the age of 12, I already became a nanny for a 6month old child up until 3 years old. After that, I took good care my sister's children. I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them. Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them.

There are several reasons why I want to become an Au Pair.
The most important reason of course is that I like children. I love them, because they represent all the innocence which we lost growing up. I love seeing how they develop and learn new things every day.
Furthermore, I would really like to learn more about your traditions. I’m looking forward trying out new things and also to have unforgettable impressions and I’m sure, one year or more far away from home will let me grow more as a person.

I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.Your life will be more fun with me.
