DANICA, 29 YEARS

Dear Host Family,

I am writing you to express my interest to become part of your family. I am Danica Ilagan 24 yrs old and I am a graduate of BSBA FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT. I can tell that I have been working with kids all my life because I used to take care of my younger siblings since I have 5 siblings and I am the 2nd eldest child.

My childcare experience includes the time when I looked after my nephews and nieces ages 4 to 8, it was a full time position but it was not a declared one but I was being paid for it. This was the time when I stopped studying for 2 years. My responsibilities were to bring them to and fetch them from school, play with them and prepare activities for them and I also did tutoring or helping the kids with their homeworks. I also did some household chores such as making food and preparing meals for the whole family, doing the grocery, cleaning the house everyday, doing the dishes, making beds and doing the laundry. I am very flexible when it comes to schedule and I can lend some more extra help if you needed it such as unscheduled babysitting.

I am very organized and very patient especially with kids which have been proven already in my previous childcare experience whether it is paid or even with my personal encounter with kids in my family which led me to decide to do the aupair program a try. And aside from that, I also want to expand my horizon by travelling and to learn and experience European culture and languages since it has been always my desire to do that. I hope you could give me a chance and if there is anything that you want to know more about me I can make myself available for a skype interview and can also provide references.
