JIE, 27 YEARS

Dear Host Family,

My name is Jie Mharene Kay Tolero or you can call me Kay for short.I have finished college with a Bachelors degree major in Communication. Im 23 years old, single, born and raised in the Philippines. My family consists of 4 members; My mother Wenifreda Tolero- a government employee works in Department of Social Welfare Development, My father Bejamin Tolero- a buy and sell businessman and my brother John Mark Tolero which already has his own family and has 9 years old son.

Moreover about me,I am hardworking, active, honest and friendly type of person. I am open minded and respect someones opinion most specially about religion,culture and beliefs. Im very open to communication because in my opinion this is important in family relationship to avoid misunderstanding. I also fan of sports specially badminton, swimming, mountain climbing. During my free time I also love to cook different kinds of dishes and bake cakes and cookies. Some dishes Ive known is learned it from the internet.

I have 5 years of experience as a nanny and a housekeeper with a busy family. Ive been supporting myself in schooling financially through this job until I finished my college. At present day my job is a cleaner in the office of city mayor in our province. My previous experience as a nanny includes basically looking for the kids. The daily routine in are as follows, in the morning I wake up 5 am to prepare the breakfast and lunch boxes for the kids. Next is to prepare them like bathing, change their clothes and prepare school bags and feed them. When they are ready the parents will send them to the school. When kids are in the school thats the time I will clean the house, tidying, cleaning the whole house, the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. If I still have time in the morning I will fix also the laundry. In the afternoon I will go to school to pick up the kids. After that I will let them play with me for 1 hr so that we could have bonding everyday. When parents will arrive in late afternoon thats the time I will go to school because I have a night class. During the weekend I spent my half day with the kids, I bring to play ground so that they could enjoy and to have fun. I usually go to church during my rest day and visit my parents and spent there a day or sometimes I hang out with my friends. When holiday or vacation I used to go with my friends, normally we go to the beach or island hopping. Sometimes I also find some activities to promote my adventurous spirit.

I learned this aupair program through my friends who are already in europe and working as aupair. This gives me a positive impression and interest to become one. It also a right set of circumstances for me to learn different language and culture. Im hopeful that you will give me a chance to experience this kind of opportunity and be your aupair. Im confident that my experience and good attitude will fit into this job.
