MAR, 24 YEARS

Dear host family, I would like to express my great interest about cultural exchange program and joining your family. I'm Mar, 24 years old from Philippines, now living in Holland . Im undergraduate of Bachelor in Secondary Education. We are 5 in the family. I have two older sisters . I am independent person who grew up in a simple life sorrounded with happy and loving people. My personality is very simple with so much respect and trust. I know how to handle with the demand of others and can handle pressure. I am not really a religious person but very spiritual. Im also an outgoing person, caring, patient, flexible, hardworking, and responsible. My work experience includes being a part-time babysitter and a housekeeper. Currently Im with family of 4 with a dog. My duties were feeding, clothing and bathing, accompanying them in activities, and doing housework (cleaning, laundry, ironing, and washing dishes). I am very passionate working with kids and nurturing. I threat them as my own kids and help them in everything. I know how to get their attention, calm, and comfort them when they feel sick or upset. As a child grow, they need guidance and support to encourage and foster their development. It is quite challenging but very fulfilling knowing that you teach/help them in every aspect of their lives. My hobbies are playing sports, cooking, traveling, making artworks, singing and dancing (not good on both, olny serve as my stress reliever). I like to spend my free time in nature (taking pictures), biking, eating, and playing with kids. It gives me joy and peace of mind. I know how to cook and do different house chores because my family trained and exposed me at early age of 8. I believe that I can be a big help in your family daily routine, taking care of your kids, and contribute to your social activities.
