DEAHANI, 30 YEARS

Dear Family,

My name is Deahani. I am 25 years old. I am from Loboc, where you can find the famous floating restaurant in Bohol, Philippines. I finished High School. I studied a vocational course-Caregiving that is all about practicing occupational health and safety procedures, applying basic first aid, providing care and support to infants, toddlers, children, elderly and people with special needs, clean living room, dining room, bedroom, toilets and bathroom, wash and iron clothes, linens and fabric and prepare hot and cold meals.

I have a happy family, my father is a missionary in the church whereas my mother is a manicurist, I have two brothers and three sisters and I am the fourth from the eldest. I am flexible, dependable, hardworking, can work without supervision, passionate with what I do and a girl with a good heart. My interests are culinary, home decorating, landscaping gardens, photography and going to beach. I know how to swim and I can ride a bike. I love dogs. I know how to cook Filipino food like adobo, sinigang and nilaga. I can bake Italian food like lasagna and macaroni cheese. I can speak English fluently. I have Standard First Aid Training. I am fit to work and can start asap.

Since July 4, 2014 until present time, I am employed as a house helper and babysitter of a family of four. I am in-charge in doing house duties like cleaning the house, cooking food, doing the laundry, ironing of clothes, washing the dishes, emptying garbage bin and running errands. I am also in-charge in looking after the kids(Seth-6 years old and Sean-1 year old), I feed them, take them a shower, put new clothes on, changing diapers, make milk bottles, teach them on how to read and write letters and numbers, deliver Seth to kindergarten and bring him home after his classes, help Seth in answering his assignment and play toys and games with them. I am also taking care of two puppies named Rhys and Essay.

I want to be an aupair because I want to be acquainted with your country’s language and culture. As an aupair, I can do what I love, which is taking care of kids and be part of their upbringing.
