ICA, 31 YEARS

Hello! Good day! I am Ica Nyll Keilah Tan Gamba and you can call me "Kay-Kay" for short. I am a Filipino Citizen and currently living in Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. I am 27 years old, single, a Born-Again Christian, and I took up my Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology at Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan.
My recent job was in a Food Industry/Manufacturing, I was a Quality Assurance Analyst/Inspector for almost 3 years. I also have a background in a BPO Industry for 6months.

I am the youngest in the family, I have 7 siblings and we are all girls. My fathers work was an Operator in a Food Industry and my mom is currently living with my eldest sister in Seattle, WA. Three of my sisters are already married and currently living with their husband. I also have 5 nephews, some of my sister's babies (ages 6 months - 8 yrs old) and they are all cute and cuddly. I also have cousins nephews and nieces and I babysit them whenever my sister or my cousin is visiting us and vice versa.

About myself, I am an understanding person, have lots of patience, fastidious, hardworking, fun to be with, has a positive attitude, has sense of responsibility and has an initiative in doing things that aren't needed to be told. I love nature both beach and mountain side, I like to travel, have a road trip with my family and friends. I also love being at peace, I meditate and do basic yoga's sometimes, I love deep conversations, I also read books and watch movies or surf the internet during my spare time. I can also cook Filipino foods, I can do the laundry, wash the dishes, clean the house, and keep everything tidy.

I am also good in babysitting, I make sure that I have a "Date-with-my-nephew/niece" day, I like buying them gifts, most of it are educational gifts like books or coloring materials or clothes. I always ask my sister/cousin first the do's and don'ts that they have with my nephew/niece, so that my nephew/niece won't get confused if ever there's a situation that my nephew/niece would ask or do. I also love tutoring my nephew/niece with their homework or if they have a random questions in mind, I also teach them how to keep their things tidy and neat, so that they'll know how to value it. I do not respond to them using baby talks so that they'll get use to talking straight.

I wanted to be an AuPair mainly because I want to travel and experience a new culture, environment, lifestyles and meet new people to share my experiences with as a Filipino. I also want to impart my Filipino culture to another family or foreign country. I want them to experience how loving, caring, hardworking and a good cook a Filipino can be. I am also excited to learn more about your culture.

This is my first time applying for AuPair and I am excited and forever grateful if you will be my first AuPair Family.
