KIMBERLY, 31 YEARS

Dear Host Family,
My name is Kimberly Claire but my relatives and friends call me Kim. I am 25 years old and I am living in the Philippines in our small but happy home.Most of my friends call me Kim. They said I am fun to be with. I am organize in everything I do. I see to it that everything is in proper place before I do something. I am patient and determine to learn and be a successful in my life.I studied in a University and finished a degree in Industrial Engineering.

The last couple of years I’ve been working to a restaurant management My main duty is to assists the Restaurant Manager in the day to day operations of the store as well as maintaining order and food safety. also attend to queries of customers which helped me to improve my skills in socializing with others. and i also love cooking that's why im enjoying working here i can cook Philippines,Italian, Chinese and More asian cusine and i am very happy and willing to learn your cuisine. I had to be away from my family because of my work which helped me to become independent and responsible. I live in an apartment where I had the responsibility to do my own cooking, cleaning and laundry. I’m also used to do these things from my parents’ home.
My cooking skills really improved since I had the responsibility to do it on my own. I am also not comfortable if my place is not organized and unclean. I see to it that everything is in its proper place before I leave for work.

I have an extra job in a 3 star hotel as a cleaning lady and mainly my task there are Dusting, vacuuming, organizing stuff, changing bed linens and washing floor.
Regards on child care experiences I am an on call nanny during weekend from a good and happy family here they have four children ages 2,4,5, 7 I’m taking care of them when their parents is out I can give referral if necessary, I have always been very fond of children and the children seem to like me too. I have adapted the skill to take care of kids, to play with them and to make them happy. I think that my childcare and household skills will make me a great au pair .

I love watching movies, dancing and listening to my favorite songs during my free time. I really enjoy being around with kids. One of my ambition is to discover more about a culture and lifestyle and I think being an au pair in your country is the best opportunity for me to achieve my dream.

I’m mature and I’m used to take responsibility, both for others and myself, and I believe that living away from my parents has taught me a lot about flexibility. I am organized, I can socialize with others which is I think vital qualities when living with a new family in a new environment.
