Who am I?

Hello! I am Arlene Epino just call me Lyn. I am from Philippines. 26 years of age. I'm an Accounting Graduate. We are 7 members in the Family. I am the second eldest among the siblings. I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Unfortunately, my parents got separated when i was 10 yrs old. And my Mother left us that time. All of us lived at my father's side in province. I know how hard life it was without a Mother. I became the second Mother to my siblings. I am well experienced in terms of children. Do all the household chores like what the Mother do, like cooking, washing, cleaning. I have helped my father all the way. Looked after my siblings since birth especially my youngest sister, she’s now 21 yrs. old. All of them are working now. On the others side, it helped me a lot to become more responsible, mature and independent woman.

My childcare experience?

I don’t have any Certificates in childcare experience but in the past few years, I have experienced taking care of children from different Families as well as my own Family that’s why I decided to join to this kind of program. I have always love kids of all ages. I wanted to become part of their life while growing and positively contribute towards their development. It helped me develop my confidence, strong communication skills and patience. And also to become their good role model so that they will remember me even I’m no longer with them in the future. One of the reasons also why I joined because I wanted to experience everything and explore other country. Your cultures, language and I want to experience the way you lived. I want to take this opportunity to have new chance to explore also the beauty of nature and other good places around the world specially your place.

Way back 2008, I became babysitter/ nanny to our neighbor (aged 2, 4, and 8 yrs. Old) when I was in High school in return of 80 pesos per day. For me to have pocket money going to school. When I was in College (year 2012 to 2013) I looked after my nephews and nieces. Their Aged was 8 months old, 3, and 6 years old. Since I am free and don’t have work at the moment (resigned from work last March 2019), I am currently a Babysitter to my Friend's baby (6 months old) and tutor to 10 yrs old.
For all the children/babies I took care, I am the one who feeds them, to change diapers, take a bath, dressing them up, playing with them outside/inside the house, walking outside, reading books, and teaching them some good values. Spending time with children was is one of the happiest moments in life. Since I have more free time I choose to spend time with children. I really love them because they are my stress reliever. I can play and laugh with them. I feel like I'm in my childhood days.


What can you expect from me?

I am a happy person and outgoing girl from Philippines. You can expect a caring, trustworthy, responsible, and reliable person. Who absolutely loves children. As well as has an experience of tutoring and assisting a 10 yr old kid to her school. I would be willing to expand your child academically if needed. And a person who has a positive minded towards life. Im looking for a host family that is understanding, welcoming, and accommodating. I would also love who is family that treats me as part of their family. I love singing, jogging, hiking, bowling and travelling. I do love pets (cats and Dogs). I like also to spend my free time to my friend , doing some stuffs like eating, shopping, taking pictures and watching movies. I love cooking and would love to learn new recipes from your country. I really like seafood’s especially buttered shrimp. I'm not fussy in terms of food. I really love to eat. I'm so much excited to taste your kind of food. I know we can help each other in terms of communication. I'm willing to learn your language for us to communicate well. I know basic Japanese. My mother tongue is Tagalog. And has A good level of English.

I wanted to continue my journey to my new Family soon. Its my pleasure to meet you in personal as well as your children. I know we can develop a good relationship towards each other. Working and living together as a family.

I would be very happy having an opportunity to talk with you and to learn more about your Family, and your interest. To my future Family, will do my best to maintain a safe and organize environment in your home and to take care your wonderful child/children. I want to help you in everyday life routine. I am really eager to meet your family very soon.
