ANALYN, 27 YEARS

Dear Family,
First of all I want to thank you for reading my letter and for giving me the chance to you a little impression of me and the reason why I would like to be an Au Pair.
My name is Analyn, a 21 year-old (female) from Bohol, Philippines. A graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies.
I came from a family of 6: My father, Isidro, 57 years old, worked as a Machine Operator while my mother, Virginia, 54 years old, is a plain housewife. I have two brothers and one sister. Our eldest, Allan Ronald, 24 years old, worked as a House Keeper in a certain resort here in Bohol, is now married and has 1 child. My sister, her name is Alysa, 19 years old, a 1st year college student. And our youngest, Aron Joshua, 16 years old, a grade 11 student. I have been a working student since 1st year college because my parents cannot afford to send me to college. The salary of my father is just really enough for our basic needs, and my mother got sick and stop her current job since then. I worked for her during daytime and attended class during evening. I have looked after my tita's 4 month old son. I was the one who takes care of her son, play with him, and do the household chores when he's asleep. I am glad that I was one of the people to witness how he develop everyday and I love how he grows. At the same time I am happy because I already learned how to manage myself, so with my time being a working student.
When it comes to language, I can speak fluently in English because I started learning English in primary school and it was also the medium of instruction in the secondary and tertiary school I attended.
There are several reasons why I want to be an Au Pair. The most important reason is that I love children because I can really see the world through their eyes and they also represent all the innocence which we lost when we grow up. I also love seeing how they develop and learn new things everyday. Furthermore, I want to meet new people, live in a new environment that is really far from the environment I used to live in and I'm sure 2 or more years away from home will let me grow more as a person and at the same time, I can help family with the daily expenses and I can help my siblings to finish school.
I would be very much happy to have the opportunity to speak with you, to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my childcare.
