JAMAICA, 33 YEARS

My name is Jamaica B. Pada, you can call me “jam” for short. 28 years of age, single and a second daughter of Noelito B. Pada and Oliva B. Pada who are both farmers.

I would like to try out a different work experience and also to help my parents, support my siblings with their daily needs. I know working abroad would be a big help and challenging. I decided to apply as an Overseas Filipino Worker and my first destination was in United Arab Emirates and worked there as a babysitter for 2 years and 6 months. Aside from babysitting, I do household chores as well like cooking, cleaning, washing the clothes, ironing, and marketing.

I also worked in Hong Kong for 2 years. I served 4 members of the family, 2 adults and 2 children, age of 7 and 6. I send them to school everyday and picked them up in the afternoon after their class. I can proudly say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children. I love keeping things organized and seeing tidy house.

When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in simple things of life. I enjoy being outdoors, with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to. I love talking to people and gaining lots of lessons in life coming from them.

As far as preferences is concerned, I am looking for a host family that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them.
