FLORA, 27 YEARS

Dear Future Host family,

I am writing to express my interest in the position of being your next Au Pair.
I’m Flora Ecat Baldoman, 22 years old, from Philippines. I studied caregiving and i am currently working as caregiver in our country, I decided to be an Au pair because it is a great opportunity for me to learn different things and be able to explore in other country.
As a caregiver, I have 2 years of experience of caring for children in ages from toddler to pre-teens. In my previous role as a caregiver from my on the job training until now that i am working, I have learned that even though it's difficult, i still able to manage the varying needs of the children.

During the day I do most of the house works and sometimes send off the kids to school, I cooked in our family too. I do babysitting most of the time and put the kids to bed. I have Good Knowledge in English and willing to learn a new language.

I have the ability to care for each child individually while paying close attention to the needs of the group. Taking care of children are challenging yet it’s fun it gives me the feeling of not being so far from my siblings. I’m used to kids since I came from a big family and also house works like laundrying, cooking and be in the farm sometimes.

Over the years as a caregiver it is a great experience that I’m able to meet different people with different personalities, I’m happy and thankful that I could learn it from experience. It helps me also to boost my confidence and communication which is an essential skills to apply a job in the Philippines.
