JIECELNY, 32 YEARS

DEAR HOST FAMILY:
My name is Jiecelny but just call me Celny. I’m looking for the opportunity to be an aupair. I am 29 years old, born on January 29, 1992 and I live in a small town in Bohol that is located in Philippines. I used to be a nanny with a newborn, 3 and 5 yr. old son. I do also household chores. During my vacant time I took the opportunity to look after children from relatives, especially my brother’s daughters and of my cousin’s children who are one and three years old. I love to spend time, laugh and play with them. Playing and working with children is near and dear to me and I think it is an exciting and challenging task. Looking after children never gets boring because every day there is something new. I always like to spend my free time in nature, making handicrafts, making hand-stitched baby dress and to do outdoor activities. I like gardening like planting vegetables, to go camping and hiking and also go fishing. If the children are interested in arts I would love to make creative things together and bring it closer to them. I would describe myself as a simple, artistic, helpful, reliable, friendly person, who is always in a good mood. Am looking for a host family where it is possible to fit in and become a part of the family. I want to stay for one year and above and would be very glad if I can celebrate traditional celebrations together. Living and working in your country would be an invaluable experience for me and my future life. Not only would I improve my language skills, but I would also be able to dive into a new culture and meet new people which can give or share life lesson or add color to my life.
I’m a type of person who is very creative, caring, kind, responsible, loving and fun but safe to be around. I am very affectionate, attentive, responsible and persistent when it comes to caring for children and work or household chores.
I love children and it is my pleasure to help to educate and entertain them whilst their parents are busy working. Spending time with children brought me happiness. Since I love art and doing crafts I will surely teach them to be creative and for sure we can have lots of fun bonding time. I love to build relationship with each and every one of children in my care, as well as good relationship with the parents. I have experienced in babysitting and doing household chores since I was young. I was trained with my parents on how to do household chores and taking good care of my younger brothers and sisters. They also taught me how to take care of my nieces and nephews. When I was 16 years of age, due to lack of financial I worked as a nanny, taking good care of a new born son, 3 and 7 years old son of my mom’s friend and at the same time doing household chores. During my spare time here in my country I used to design and make dress especially for babies. I used also to engage myself in practicing drawing and painting. I also enjoyed beautifying our home and making some home decorations accessories and handicrafts.
The reason I want to be an au pair is to have the opportunity to travel and learn European culture, and meet people with different nationalities which can develop myself by learning and making challenging life experience. It's my dream to be able to travel in Europe countries to see the amazing places and as well as learning the different cultures and hopefully I can fulfill this dream by becoming an au pair.

I've been working hard and supporting my family since 2013 till now without giving myself a reward, and as I noticed, time flies so fast and I'm getting older and as a reward for myself , I want to explore other countries to fulfill my dream while working at the same time through becoming an au pair.

The ideal family for me is the one that makes me feel like part of the family, because I will make my host family part of my life forever.
